Do you see color patterns? Do certain colors just jump out
at you on certain days? You may be a natural color-therapist. If not, you may
be pleased to know that color therapy is happening around you and influencing
your health, mood, mental state and your day as well, even though you are
unaware. Color therapy has naturally been with me for many years as more and
more I began noticing the patterns, the colors and their effects. Each day I
see the colors for the day that effect each of us.
The color for today is yellow. Mostly pale yellow like the
beautiful softness of the Plumeria flower, but also a range of shades of
yellow. Yellow is the color that relates to the solar plexus, the third chakra.
In regard to the body, this relates to the spleen, the nervous system the
endocrine glands, the pancreas and issues with blood sugar, ulcers and anything
in the mid-body area.
Mentally, the color yellow is intellectual and applies to
your learning and growth, studious efforts, understanding, concentration and
good mental clarity.
Spiritually, it is a higher level of growth and learning in
your spiritual evolution. Sometimes gold will filter into shades of yellow and
this is representative of spiritual enlightenment and wealth on all levels of
body, mind and soul.
Yellow is uplifting and stimulating. If you begin to notice
the color yellow then you may apply the above traits. If there is any browning
or muddiness in the yellow then it is showing you that there is work to do in
the fore-mentioned areas so that they are cleansed. Chakra balancing and
clearing of the solar plexus will help with this.
In the Hawaiian culture, the plumeria symbolizes positivity and is used in leis or to celebrate special occasions. When worn in the hair, the plumeria flower symbolizes the relationship status of the wearer. A flower over the right ear means she is available while one over the left means she is taken.
